Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time

As the Lead Planning Engineer, you will

  • Work with the planning team, the Lead Planning Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all project planning, control management support to Projects and other corporate functions needs are met.
  • Be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Company project plan / schedule and interface with / input to Client project plan 
  • Understand and positively react to PD&MS needs in an expedient and proactive manner within the planning function 
  • Be responsible for the identification and delivery of department project deliverables in accordance with agreed schedules and priorities 
  • Be responsible for the development and improvement of Planning systems, tools and processes 
  • Lead and support the periodic review of company Planning procedures and policy 
  • Attend kick off meetings and gather data to determine schedule constraints 
  • Establish set project baselines and obtain agreement from all stakeholders 
  • Liaise and interface with Client Representatives on issues of project planning

About You

You’ll have experience of:

  • Demonstrable experience in the application of Project Planning and Control Principles
  • Reasonable understanding of all engineering disciplines
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Competent in the use of MS Office applications
  • Exposure to People Management / Experience in managing and developing others

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject
  • Significant experience in the use of Planning software
