PD&MS Group are now looking for a Power Platform Developer join our DS&T Team in Aberdeen on a full-time, employee basis. We offer an excellent salary + benefits package on a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.
We are seeking candidates that have previous software development experience for this role.
Role summary:
The Power Platform Developer is responsible for providing development to OnPrem and O365 environments using the power platform suite of tools.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers and business users to understand and document requirements for Power Platform projects
- Design and develop low-code solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate (Flow), adhering to best practices and design guidelines
- Customise and extend SharePoint Online, SharePoint lists, and other Office 365 components as needed
- Integrate Power Platform applications with other systems and data sources using connectors and APIs
- Develop and maintain efficient and reusable code components to ensure scalability and maintainability of applications
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Power Platform applications
- Participate in code reviews, share constructive feedback, and learn from senior team members
- Stay updated with the latest Power Platform features, updates and industry trends
- Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications, user guides, and training materials
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of Power Platform solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of development efforts with business goals
- Be a champion for knowledge management and collaboration
- Remain up to date with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform ecosystem
